We provide self-tapping screws which are required to ensure the front lip stays on and secure. (Self-taping screws are included in each order & holes are predrilled in the bottom of the splitter.)

Our Viento Aero Front Lip is a front-end air diffuser and front spoiler combined.  It cuts through the wind by directing it under the Model Y via the 2 front air inlets.  This combined with our rear diffuser creates more downforce on your Model Y, thus making it more stable at higher speeds.

Ground Clearance:  This Front Lip Lowers your clearance, making the splitter more prone to impact. Please take caution when parking near parking blocks or going over driveways. Customers in non-suburban areas should exercise extra caution when going on driveway slopes. Most likely you will require under-bumper protection. If you ever touch or bump something, make sure to check that your Front Lip is secured thus making it safe to drive.  If it ever comes loose, you can use self-taping screws to lock it to the underside of your bumper.

Carbon Pattern Warranty: Real Molded Carbon Fiber is hand laid and is not Prepreg Wet Molded, so it may show imperfections in pattern direction. These variations are normal and are not a manufacturer's defect. Please refer to our Return Policy if you would like to return them.

UV Warranty: Our Real Molded Carbon Fiber is coated with 3 coats of UV Protection. Over time without proper care from waxing or applying a nano-ceramic coating, this protection can wear off. The warranty is limited to 1 year. Slight yellowing is normal for carbon fiber when parked outside in direct sunlight and is not covered under our warranty. To extend the life of our Carbon Fiber, we recommend using "303 Protectant”. Ceramic coatings will assist with UV protection and we recommend Ceramic Pro. Lastly, after you install it we recommend wrapping it in clear bra paint protection film. This will only work on the glossy finish, and will prevent pitting, scratching and denting over time.

Speed Limit Warranty: Our front lips have been tested at all speeds up to 130MPH. It is not recommended to go above speeds greater that 80MPH. In the case that your front lip falls off, please message our customer service team for possible solutions & fixes.

NOTE: These are considered USED as soon as the double sided adhesive liner is removed. Used items are NOT RETURNABLE so please be sure you're happy with the way it looks and place it on your TESLA before removing the adhesive liner.

Note: Professional installation is recommended for this product.

Clean the contact area where the 3M double-sided tape is applied with rubbing alcohol. Then, peel off the adhesive liner and apply pressure in the correct location suggested in the installation video. After it is installed, we suggest using painters tape to exert more pressure on the double sided tape. 3M says 72 hours is needed for it to fully bond, so please keep this applied pressure during these 3 days. When we install them, we put a rivet in the middle to ensure it will not come off at high speeds.

If you have Clear Bra, Paint Protection Film (PPF) installed, the front lip will install right over it. If you have any ceramic coatings on your front end, you will need to use a magic eraser sponge to remove the coating to ensure a strong bond with the 3M double sided tape.

Our installation videos provide the necessary information to correctly install our products. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you watch the installation video/s both before ordering and before installing our products.
