Original Model S license plate lights are not LED, they are very dim. These super bright 12 Chip LED upgrade lights will make your your license plate brighten up like our photos show here.
The first 89,000 Model S's have non LED lights and they are upgradeable with these 36mm LED lights. You can check your VIN number. Before ordering just check above your license plate frame. if you have 2 screws on the sides of the light housing then you can upgrade your lights to our real LED bulbs.
They just pop right in!
