ATTENTION:  You CANNOT upgrade your yoke style steering wheel to this RPM round version unless you already have a TESLA round version in your 2021+ Model S or X now.  If you own a 2023 Model S or X with a TESLA round steering wheel this carbon fiber upgrade will work in your Model S or X.  

The 2023 round TESLA steering wheel uses a different airbag and a different bezel, but your 2021+ Model S & X can be upgraded by TESLA if you pay then $700. They will come to you and upgrade your Yoke style steering wheel to their new round steering wheel.  Then you can order this leather & Carbon Fiber Upgrade version from us.  It is very easy to install as we show in our videos below.  

New for 2023, this is RPM's newest round wheel, and we have upgraded the stock plastic coated vegan round wheel with thick soft napa leather on the side handles, and we have upgraded the plastic top and bottom with real molded carbon fiber. It is fully heated like your stock wheel is. Our carbon fiber is not made in China and this wheel is not as well.  Many companies use pre-preg carbon fiber made in China.  This is not, and the carbon fiber is hand laid and dry molded and polished to look like a diamond.  Glossy provides a rich deep wet look, and matte makes it look flat or dry like the standard plaid interiors.  

We also offer 2 other great complimenting products for your interior.  

First, we offer a full interior carbon fiber upgrade kit.  This will transfer your Long Range's wood interior carbon fibre so it looks just like a Plaid's interior.  Here is a LINK.

Second, we have a protection kit that will make your Plaid's matte carbon fiber interior glossy.  Then you may want to order this round steering wheel in a matching glossy finish.  Here is the LINK. 

NOTE:  This is not an aftermarket steering wheel, but a brand new 2023+ Tesla Round OEM Steering wheel.  We have been modifying Tesla Steering wheels for 8 years now.  To date, we have upgraded more than 2,000 TESLA steering wheels with no issues.  We are experts at upgrading TESLA wheels.  So again, these are not replica steering wheels, they are not from China and they are not built on fake copied steering wheel cores.  Many companies are doing this for Model S and X as well as the Yoke style for Model 3's and Y's.   

We assure you we are not making an aftermarket wheel.  At RPM, we modify the perimeter of a stock TESLA steering wheel.  There are no warranties issues, and when our wheel arrives, you simply pop out your stock wheel and insert ours along with your original air bag.

No issues, and ours self-install in less than 5 minutes. We have purchase brand new wheels from Tesla, and our customers purchase new Yoke steering wheels from Tesla, and we update their original wheels.

WARRANTY:  There are no warranty issues with our updated TESLA original steering wheels, and in fact, many TESLA service centers have installed these for our customers in Australia and in other U.S. cities.  These are real OEM TESLA wheels and only the outer rim has been updated.

HOW DO WE UPDATE THE STEERING WHEELS? 

Here is a brief summary of the transformation to create this round steering wheel.  First, we removed the TESLA original vinyl cover and we  remove the switches and  electronics.  We then mold carbon fiber over the upper and lower sections and then we install the soft Napa leather around the handles.  We do do anything to the existing heated layers buried in the stock urethane core. 

The switches are reinstalled into the wheel and it is finished.  We also have made hundreds of heated steering wheels for Model 3, Y, S & X.  Again, only the leather handles will be heated.

It is very easy and only requires the releasing of your original airbag with an allen wrench, unthreading the center bolt, and unclipping 2 clips and reinstalling the new wheel.  With your purchase of our wheel, we will ship you an allen wrench and a socket to remove and reinstall the wheel bolt.
